Summer holiday plans and self-care

A few people have started to ask me about my plans for the summer - ie will I be away at all? I actually have a trip away - just down to see family in the South and be with my dad for Father's Day - in a couple of weeks time. Holistyx will be closed for a week from Tuesday 16th to Tuesday 23rd June.
I am going to be available as usual throughout July and August - and I have just put August availability in the online calendar.


If you know you are going to be too busy in the holiday period to come for a session - whether looking after children, going away yourself - or covering at work for other people's time off - maybe get yourself booked in sooner rather than later for some care and attention to get yourself feeling relaxed and good in body and mind to better enjoy the summer!

Alternatively some people like to come just before a trip away, so they don't arrive too stressed and tense to make the most of it - or after they return in case the journey back is tiring and difficult, and as something to look forward to to take the sting out of the end of the holiday!

 Its that time of year again!

With the winter festivities coming up (whether you are thinking of what you are getting for others, or what you'd like them to get for you!) Holistyx Gift vouchers are available at a variety of price points for presents for Christmas or other celebrations of the season.

A gift of enjoyment and therapeutic benefit, to relieve tension and stress, to alleviate pain or discomfort, for improved mood and sleep, to look after mental, emotional and physical health. Some time out to relax and unwind, to balance and restore energies and for a real sense of wellbeing!

How to use Each voucher contains a unique Coupon Code which is used when booking an appointment on the Online Scheduler.

Expiry Date: The code will be usable until the expiry date - 4 months from the date of issue.

Options: By email OR through the post
An e-voucher - which I will email you as an attachment, and you can then either print out yourself, or forward on. OR
A physical voucher and leaflet through the post to yourself or directly to the person they are for.

Options: Price and Type
Vouchers match treatment options and prices, with a price range from £40 to £75.



If in doubt whether it is appropriate to buy a gift voucher for someone please ask before you purchase. However, a refund is available up to the expiry date of the voucher, if I am not able to treat due to medical reasons or if my terms and conditions, including Covid safety policies, are not accepted by the recipient.

Festive Season Availability

I hope you aren't getting too stressed out by all the pressures of the season!

This week I am available as usual. Ie Monday I was at Concept Hair and Beauty and on Thursday and Saturday afternoons I'll be at my Therapy Room in East Road (follow the links for location details and photos). I'm now fully booked tomorrow but if you fancy a massage or Reflexology de-stress on Saturday (perhaps after facing the shops!) or you'd like to treat visiting friends and family (I've had a few people request that, you lovely lot) I am available. Perhaps with some Frankincense for a festive yet deeply relaxing effect!

Next week I will be available on Friday the 23rd of Dec instead of Thurs 22nd. For urgent treatment, I would be available on Saturday 24th Dec - Christmas Eve.

Between Christmas and New Year I will be taking a week off for the first time in 6 years - really looking forward to it!

First week of January I think Concept will be shut for the Bank Holiday on Monday 2nd of January, but if you would like an appointment on that day let me know and I will check if I can do so at East Road. If you are feeling rather sluggish and worse for wear after overindulging in food and drink, I can provide a de-toxing treatment to help your liver recover, and get your pep back!

My prices are due to go up on the 1st of January by a couple of pounds a session. So, an hour session (eg reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Swedish Back Massage) will be £27 instead of £25, an hour and a 1/4 session (eg Swedish Full Body Massage) will be ££32 instead of £30, and an hour and a half session (eg an Aromatherapy Full Body Massage) will be £37 instead of £35. But as I still have in stock several vouchers printed up for £15, £20, £25, £30 and £35, I am doing an offer on these:

For any vouchers bought up to and including the end of December, if the voucher is redeemed against a treatment by the end of January, I'll charge 2009 prices. Ie a £25 voucher bought in December and used in January will be worth an hour session. If the voucher is redeemed later than that, I'll charge the £2 extra.

Either:

1. Send me a cheque (contact me for my home address) and I'll post a voucher first class in a festive envelope complete with my leaflet of information and contact details - either to you or directly to the person the gift is for.

2. Contact me and arrange to meet me to pay me in cash, and I will give the voucher directly to you.

If you prefer, I can also produce vouchers at 2010 prices.

My availability is very limited in August.

However, do contact me if you'd like an appointment. We may be able to arrange something, and if not, at least you can make sure you get something scheduled early in September.

If you've been looking after children all summer you may need a de-stressing treatment by then!
